International Research
Co-ordination
The Empathy view is that it is essential, especially
in projects involving research in countries that differ
not only in language, but also in economic and social
conditions, attitudes and behaviour patterns, there
is a high degree of inter-country survey co-ordination.
This involves:
- central planning
- central control
- central interpretation
Co-ordination is essential to ensure inter-country
comparability, i.e. that differences found between countries
are real and not the result of variations, as appropriate
in:
-
research
design
- methodology
- interpretation
- quality control
Having designed a survey and developed an English version
of the questionnaire to be used we will brief all partner
companies, control the quality of translations and manage
the analysis and interpretation of results for all of
the countries involved in the survey.
